Pelican 1 anchored last night near Bat Reef. Somewhere near here, Steve Irwin swam a little too close to a sting ray. We had a very quiet night. Normally the South East trades blow all the time and are predicted to start up tonight. This morning we watched a group of Indo Pacific dolphins rounding up their breakfast. Thrashing the water in a group hunt.

We had a snorkel around a coral outcrop before now motoring to Cedar Bay. Three mackerel jumped on our lines too. They must've known that Uncle Des and Aunty Estelle are coming down to the boat from Cooktown to meet us for dinner!
